Jesus Loves Each One Of You Forrest Hall 7.29.07 Do you ever struggle to believe that Jesus really loves each one of us; that He died for you as well as every one else? Well, I want you to remember to "little" people in history who were near Jesus during His crucifixion and then His resurrection. First, we read of the thief on the cross who was on one side of Jesus. In the final minutes of his life he chose to stick up for Jesus against the other criminals and those in the crowd. The thief was then bold enough to ask Jesus if He would remember him. Jesus kindly replied that he would be in paradise with Him. Mary was the other person who Jesus chose to first show himself to after His resurrection. Of all the people He could show himself to, it was one person with probably little influence. History like this helps us understand that Jesus looks forward to meeting all of us and having us in His presence forever. He truly loves each one of us! |
